For the launch of the FORD EGDE, Foo Studio invited us to develop helmets that integrate proximity sensors to promote the qualities of the truck. The concept was to protect the cyclist through this technology.
Taking advantage of hardware components from open platforms such as Arduino, we integrated the sensor system, along with the controller of the LEDs and vibrators in the back of the neck to complement the experience and make the cyclist alert. The hull and all its components were modeled in 3D to be able to integrate them into its structure in a logical way for its programming and manufacturing.
Six fully functional helmets were produced, which were used by influencers for the campaign video that was sent to the Cannes Film Festival to compete.
The exhibition system can be found in the video library of the Cineteca Nacional, as well as in the Conaculta Store.
